Leah who works the front desk is also so wonderful. I had a tooth break and needed an emergency appointment and they were able to fit me in within 24 hours and then when my temporary crown broke, they were able to rush my permanent crown and so the total time between getting my temporary crown to my permanent crown was Thursday to Monday vs the initial 2 weeks scheduled. I’m so grateful. They did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend! Read more

The waiting room is cozy and they offer free refreshment for hot Utah summer afternoons, or Cold Utah winter mornings. The office's choice of music is nice and relaxing. The seating is comfortable and welcoming, the procedure areas are sparkling clean, new and comfortable and they even have TVs on the ceiling so that you have something to watch while they work. Like most dentists visits I had in my life, I entered the office with much trepidation. All of my unease melted away because Leah, at the front desk, is a ray of sunshine. Leah welcomed me with a bright smile and kind words. She saw that I had mobility issues and rather than have me return to the front counter (to sign some paperwork I had forgotten) she brought it right to me with a smile. Suzy took care of my x-rays, she was quick, very nice and accommodating. I next met with Marlena, the Dental Hygienist, who was the consummate professional. Marlena was very sweet, explained everything she was doing as she did so, and kindly answered my many questions. I know the website says that Dr. Shroeder is a "new dentist", but he carries himself with the poise of a veteran and has great "chair-side manner". The good Doctor broke the tension with some light humor and commanded a confidence that I found comforting and reassuring. Dr Shroeder, with the help of Suzy, was quick, skilled, and light of hand; If not for the sound of the tools I would have had no idea he was working. Thanks to their work, I have two new, MUCH needed fillings and the sensitivity to cold in those teeth has been almost completely eliminated. I remember in the past when I left other dentist's offices, I was mentally tired, glad it was over and didn't even want to think about going back. This was not the case with Salt Flats Dentistry Bangerter. I left feeling energized, good about my situation and to my utmost surprise, excited to eventually return. I remember when I left Leah said "Welcome to the family!", I truly felt welcomed to the Salt Flats family and I highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to give them a chance. I had a great experience with them. … I went to Salt Flats Dentistry on Bangerter as a new patient today for x-rays and a cleaning. I had a great experience with them. First of all, Leah was incredibly kind on the phone when I called to schedule an appointment last week, and she was there to greet me when I came in today. She is very super nice and accommodating. The dental assistant, Karina, did my x-rays, and she was as gentle as she was efficient. She is a sweet and funny gal. I had the privilege of having Dr. Schroeder clean my teeth instead of a hygienist, and he was great. He was gentle and did a fine job. My teeth look and feel clean. He also gave me a lot of useful information about my teeth, like what was happening and why, and he gave me some options to consider for the future. Overall, great experience. I wasn’t feeling very good this morning before my appointment, but I actually left feeling better and I got my dental check-up squared away. What more can you ask for? Also—it’s a nice, new office and it’s in a great location. They accept Medicaid, too! Read more

And I really appreciate and respect the fact that he took the time to show me and explain to me the X-rays and what he was seeing and what he thinks is wrong with my teeth I have had some very unfortunate experiences in my life that have deteriorated my teeth and they still make me feel like my smile is worth seeing. Amazing staff and even more attentive dentist! They are very thorough here and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Not to mention they have a soda fridge and coffee bar. Will be coming back!
