A new patient visit at Salt Flats Dentistry is $99 and includes a comprehensive exam, X-rays, and a basic cleaning. That price applies at all three Salt Lake Valley offices in Murray, Herriman, and Riverton, and it applies whether or not you have dental insurance. If the exam shows you need deeper cleaning or additional treatment, Salt Flats Dentistry provides a written estimate before anything is scheduled.
Salt Flats Dentistry accepts almost every major dental insurance plan at its Murray, Herriman, and Riverton offices, including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. The office files the claim for you and reviews your benefits before treatment begins so you know what your plan covers and what you owe. Call or text the location nearest you to verify your specific plan.
Salt Flats Dentistry accepts Medicaid at its Riverton office, located at 3816 13400 S in Riverton, Utah. The Murray and Herriman offices do not accept Medicaid. Riverton is the only one of the three Salt Flats Dentistry locations with Medicaid coverage, and patients from Riverton, West Jordan, Bluffdale, and South Jordan are all within roughly 15 minutes of that office. Call 385-533-9393 to schedule at the Riverton location.
Salt Flats Dentistry holds time in the daily schedule at all three offices for patients with a broken tooth, a lost crown, swelling, or tooth pain that cannot wait. Call the Murray, Herriman, or Riverton office as early in the day as possible and the team will work you in the same day when the schedule allows. Because Salt Flats Dentistry uses CEREC same day crown technology in house, a broken tooth can often be repaired and permanently restored in a single visit rather than patched with a temporary and rebooked two weeks out.
Salt Flats Dentistry plans around dental anxiety rather than treating it as an inconvenience. Every operatory at the Murray, Herriman, and Riverton offices has a TV mounted above the chair and noise cancelling headphones available. The practice offers laughing gas and oral sedation for patients who want more than that, and the team will stop at any point you ask. Tell the office when you book so your appointment can be scheduled with extra time and a slower pace.
